Ozora Student Assistant
I grew up knowing Jesus at a young age. I am blessed to say I never really knew what it was like before I met Christ because I was too little to understand. I was definitely just as lost as everyone else, but I do know that I came to know Jesus when I was around seven or eight years old. I was one of those students that always raised their hand to receive Christ in the service; I guess I really knew I loved Jesus and wanted a relationship with Him. It wasn't until I was in sixth grade when my relationship with Jesus became real. I saw my friends make bad decisions and do and say certain things and I thought, "No, I want to pursue Jesus and not do those things." That's when Jesus became personal for me. My life has gone through lots of ups and downs, but God has always been the same for me, even when I am angry or upset. He’s blessed me when I didn’t deserve it and brought me from Northern Virginia to Georgia. The past two years, I have learned so much from getting to work with students. It’s been very fulfilling.
