I grew up going to church in a small middle Georgia town and always tried to be a good kid. One day in Sunday school, when I was twelve, I understood that it wasn’t about being good, but instead it was about accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior. He was the One who saved me, not just trying to be a good person. From that day forward, I began increasing  my faith and later learned that you must spend time each day growing in a relationship with Jesus.
 
Throughout college, I grew in my faith through on-campus college ministries and working FUGE summers camps. After interning with a college ministry, I decided to go to seminary where I grew immensely in my understanding and knowledge of the Bible.
 
I have loved putting into practice everything I learned in seminary and camp here at Graystone Church!
